Privacy
What we collect, and what we don't.
Short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and makes no requests to any third party. The only personal data we hold is what you deliberately send us.
Browsing this site
Nothing is collected. There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no cookie of any kind. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from this domain, so loading a page does not tell anyone but our host that you were here.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub processes the request and may log the IP address that made it. That is outside our control and is covered by GitHub's privacy statement.
The simulator
Everything you build in the simulator stays in your browser. Circuits, networks and results are never transmitted. If you press Send us this setup, the page composes an email in your own mail application and copies the setup to your clipboard. Nothing leaves your device until you press send.
Joining the community
The community form asks for your name, email, country and a few details about your background and interests. City, employer and your free-text answer are optional. Submitting it composes an email from your own mail client, so the data reaches us directly rather than passing through a form processor.
We use it to:
- Contact you about cohorts, sessions and events
- Place you in a cohort that matches your experience
- Schedule sessions at hours that work in your time zone
- Decide which tracks to run and how large to make them
The lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. Newsletter emails are a separate tick, and withdrawing one does not withdraw the other.
Emailing or messaging us
If you email hello@qryptonics.com or message us on WhatsApp, we keep that correspondence so we can answer you and pick the conversation back up later. WhatsApp messages are processed by Meta under their own terms.
Who else sees it
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share personal data. We use no marketing platform, no CRM and no analytics provider. If that ever changes, this page changes first and anyone already on the list is told before their data moves.
How long we keep it
- Community details — while you are on the list, and for twelve months after your last cohort, then deleted.
- Correspondence — up to twenty-four months, then deleted unless it relates to a contract we have to keep records of.
- Anything you ask us to delete — gone within thirty days.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent entirely. One email to hello@qryptonics.com is enough. We do not require a form, and we will not ask you why. Expect a reply within thirty days.
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR applies to you and you may complain to your national supervisory authority. In Qatar, Law No. 13 of 2016 on Personal Data Privacy Protection applies and complaints go to the competent authority under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy. It has no login, no database and no server-side code, so there is no account to compromise. Community details live in our mailbox, which uses multi-factor authentication.
Changes
If this page changes materially, the change is announced to anyone on the community list before it takes effect. The full revision history is public in the site's repository.
